"The Old Warrior"

The Old Warrior stands proud and looks into infinity. He is from the Yemen
and the colours of his outfit represent the heat and grace of his country.
The work carries a great deal of energy. The direction of the knife handle
as well as the crossed multicoloured sashes enveloping the top half of his
body, make one’s eyes wonder diagonally across the painted surface, thus
linking all four sides together.
