seen as almost off balance while in the process of killing his prey.
The painting embraces rich colour and tone to introduce drama and
atmosphere. The tassel hanging behind his arm, seems to have a life of its
own. The manner with which it has been portrayed, echoes the mood of the
painting as a whole.
